We’re Tend — Dental Done Differently.

Tend was founded to make going to the dentist something people actually look forward to. We blend thoughtfully designed studios, top-tier clinical care, advanced technology, and a hospitality-driven mindset to create a dental experience that’s human, personalized, and exceptional from start to finish.

Since launching in 2019, we’ve delivered care to over 100,000 patients across New York, Washington DC, Boston, Atlanta, and Nashville. With thousands of five-star reviews and over 650 passionate team members, Tend is one of the fastest-growing and highest-rated dental brands in the country — and we’re just getting started.

Whether you’re delivering care in our studios or supporting our growth behind the scenes, every role at Tend contributes to reimagining the future of dental health — for patients and for the people who care for them.

We’re growing fast — and we’re looking for values-driven, mission-aligned talent to grow with us.

As our Facilities Manager, you'll be the go-to leader for ensuring Tend’s physical environments operate safely, smoothly, and in line with our high design standards. Based out of our NYC Hub, you’ll oversee facilities management across all studios, supporting both day-to-day needs and long-term maintenance planning. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll manage vendors, troubleshoot issues, respond to emergencies, and proactively improve how we care for our spaces. If you're a solution-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, service-driven environment—we’d love to meet you.

Location: This is a hybrid role, based in New York City
Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 + annual bonus

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary contact for all studio maintenance, repairs, and dental equipment issues across all Tend locations
  • Manage emergency, planned, and preventative work with consistent service levels and cost efficiency
  • Respond to emergency situations and coordinate resolution—including after hours and weekends as needed
  • Own the New Studio Opening process — manage the full checklist from pre-opening preparations through opening day, including vendor coordination, onsite travel for setup and installation, equipment and supply readiness, and ensuring all facilities-related elements meet Tend’s operational and brand standards.
  • Coordinate vendor sourcing, negotiations, and service level adherence
  • Conduct regular studio visits and site audits to ensure they reflect the Tend brand and meet regulatory compliance
  • Ensure safety protocols are met, including OSHA, ADA, and local/state/federal regulations
  • Maintain all required safety reports and documentation
  • Serve as liaison between studios and property management or landlord teams

Who You Are

Our physical spaces are a reflection of our brand, our care, and our commitment to creating a warm, welcoming environment. You won’t just be fixing what's broken; you'll be shaping how our studios operate, how they feel, and how we continue to raise the bar on healthcare environments. We’re looking for someone who leads with heart, takes ownership, and thrives in a role that blends service, problem-solving, and operational excellence. You’ll bring a values-first mindset, a high standard for quality, and the ability to move with urgency and care.

  • Savor the Ride – You understand that it’s fun doing hard stuff—and you bring a positive energy to problem-solving, even when the pressure’s on. You celebrate wins and bring others along for the journey.
  • Embrace Our Differences – You communicate clearly and respectfully with cross-functional teams, vendors, and studio leaders. You trust in positive intent and are open to diverse ways of working and thinking.
  • Rooted in Growth – You own your development and constantly look for ways to improve how we operate—both proactively and in response to issues. You also help others grow by sharing knowledge and best practices.
